accidental video/action for Team Rocket Base

[The video posted on the network isn't very clear. It's hazy and it's filmed from a bad angle. It's not a very nice film. You might want to look away from it.

What is this place and how do I get out of here?

I-I don't know! You're asking the wrong guy! [There's a small yelp-like sound.] Don't hurt me!

Tch. [There's a loud thud and someone who looks like a Rocket Grunt appears on the screen for a while before getting up and running away. It's then when the owner of the gear notices the device and picks it up. He doesn't point it to his face - instead you can see a Purrloin.]

Looks like any of the guys here aren't off help. How about any of you?

[He puts the video out after that question.]

(ooc: The poor guy here is a Team Rocket NPC who happened to come across Ikuto when he was searching for people he could ask questions from.)

[Ikuto thinks for a while. While meeting Utau might be a bad thing, everything considered, they seem to be stuck in this place together... so it would be good to be with the people you knew, right?]

[She'll really be there, waiting for him and to his ~~pleasant~~ surprise, she won't give him a hug attack right away. Then again, Utau always used to avoid contact whenever they weren't alone in the Easter building and she hell sure doesn't trust that they're alone right now.

But she's still smiling, in a non creepy, angelic way to him. But the Espeon near her looks curious, there's a Beautifly lazying between her pigtails, two Ninetales sitting near - and one of them looks devilish...]

Ikuto ... [wait a sec, she's using all of her acting skillz to not tacklehug you.] ...Where do you want to go? Are you hungry? Are you tired? I guess those clothes are a little cold here...

[Deep breath in. She can't lose it here, not right now.

Oh, and that Purrloin who's following him? It'll be greeted by two cotton candy birds, who seem to be in a playful mood... Until they use Sing on it. Oh dear, forgive them Purrloin ~~it was all planned just for you~~, they are just songbirds and love singing so much and they're young, they don't remember the effect yet.]

[He's not sure if getting greeted by an army of odd creatures is any better, but he'll live.

The amount of questions is about as much as he expected. He shrugs at them.]

Glance to the cat. Time for half-excuses.] Hmm, I guess those two don't remember that their Sing attack puts the target to sleep. I don't have any awakenings, so you'd better just call it back.

[She'll call the birds back now, and it's a little too crowded here, so calling back the normal-looking Ninetales too.]

Alright. [He'd just trust Utau on this because he has no idea what this place is like or where he should head first.

The same thing with the Pokémon, since he's never touched that stuff. So he'll call the Purrloin back.] So there are attacks like that.

Mm, there are attacks like that and many others. ...And the amount of those has gone up by hundreds, I don't think anyone really knows the real count here.

[...Her heart really needs to stop racing as if it's going to jump out... Fine okay, she'll try to calm it down by walking ahead of him. He'd follow. He wants answers and trusts her. Of course he'll follow.]

This is Goldenrod. We are in the middle of the region called Johto, you can take a train to Kanto from here.

Something about being stuck in a different world that we can't get out of and that time stops in ours when we're here. That, and the fact everyone who's native is obsessed with Pokémon.

The background music never stops, except maybe when there are music performances or at least it's... More quiet during those. Some people have been here for more than two years and there's no way out - not even on some weird weekends which we forget, except I think I remember using Il's powers here... So, no way out.

Sometimes people disappear and it's assumed they go back home, there's no any sign of it before it happens and basically it can just happen in a blink of an eye -- or so. I haven't really seen it happening to anyone I know, so...

[He was wondering a bit about the music. It's not really the most pleasant one of them all, after all. Actually, it's somewhat annoying when it just repeats itself.

Our Charas aren't here with us, so I assume that we can't use any of our abilities either?

[Just talking about random stuff, because she doesn't plan to tell him about time stuff right now. She'll get to that later.]

Yeah, we can't. This place takes all the powers away from everyone and... Even if they were here, this place would transform them into humans. It does that to everyone who is not human.

[That earns a silence as Ikuto is trying to imagine Yoru as a human...

Excuse him, he'll chuckle at the image.]

Watching and hearing him chuckle at whatever it is, feels amazing, okay? Yes!]

[He'll look at Utau with a small smile, even though it's a fading one.]

Just though about Yoru...

[He'll get a big smile back while she's trying to keep her self control in... Well, in full control, as much as she is tempted to rush into him for a hug.]

There's a Pokémon that looks like him a bit... Maybe. If you use your imagination well enough.

[She'll look for Luxray from her pokedex and shows it to Ikuto.

Shrug.] At least he was my first thought when I saw it's first evolution.

[...Which doesn't even look like Yoru, but it was a cat and she was in a strange world, it sums that situation up pretty well.]

Hmm... it might be too fierce to be him, but you're right. It does resemble him a bit. [A blue cat-like Pokémon. What else would it remind them of?]

That form of it can see through walls. Very useful~.

[Except not so much if she was about to use it for anti-TR stuff, but...]

But you're right, it's much too fierce to be Yoru. Not on the first evolution, but the two after that...

[She'll put the dex back into her pocket and opens the door to the Department Store.]

So it makes a good watch-Pokémon, if you don't want uninvited guests.

[Yoru was sometimes good for that too, except not really.

Ikuto looks around at the Department Store. Sure is a big store.]

Even better if you combine it with a psychic type, they can literally talk to you with telepathy here.

[Were there psychic types in the early games? She doesn't know, and she's honestly pretty much used to them here by now anyways, so she doesn't even think about it too much.

Dia the Espeon glances at Ikuto while Utau says that, but he might be too busy looking at the place to notice it.

Letting go of his hand s l o w l y as if he's going to disappear if she lets go, she starts going through the clothes, choosing this and that from the lines. She's pretty much used to doing this ~~in my headcanon anyway~~.]

[Getting dragged around shopping is something that Ikuto's, well, kind of used to. Though it hasn't happened for ages because of circumstances so he might as well go with it this time.

At least he doesn't need to choose clothes. That's just troublesome.]

[It only takes a little while before she's finished and she offers the clothes to Ikuto with a smile.]

[Or don't because they should be perfect for you, because she chose them. ...But she might have a reason to ask it.]
