[The video posted on the network isn't very clear. It's hazy and it's filmed from a bad angle. It's not a very nice film. You might want to look away from it.

What is this place and how do I get out of here?

Tch. [There's a loud thud and someone who looks like a Rocket Grunt appears on the screen for a while before getting up and running away. It's then when the owner of the gear notices the device and picks it up. He doesn't point it to his face - instead you can see a Purrloin.]

(ooc: The poor guy here is a Team Rocket NPC who happened to come across Ikuto when he was searching for people he could ask questions from.)

Welcome to the wonderful world of pokémon, you're probably in one of two regions Kanto or Johto.

In other words you've been kidnapped and dumped where ever those assholes decided to put you.

Nope, you're stuck until they decide they don't want you here anymore and then you'll leave just as suddenly as you came.

Yeah, people get dumped here pretty frequently, you'll see a bunch of newbies show up every few weeks.

The rate at which people leave however is completely random.

So there's no way of telling when someone leaves.

Yeah, I've been here for a while now, I know some people that just up and left in a month.

First most locals are concerned with only one thing, pokémon. They have no hospitals only pokémon centers. Only way to get around is on foot or by pokémon, they don't use cars.

Sounds annoying. I guess it's better to get used to Pokémon as fast as possible.

That's a pretty good plan and you can start by playing with that purrlion you have over there.

He hasn't seemed very eager to play.

I mostly mean take good care of him and don't piss him off.

I didn't have any plans on annoying it.

You don't know him well enough to know what might tick him off or what makes him happy.

He's your first, so you need to take a those sort of things into consideration.

It acts like a cat, but it also has a few quirks. Purrlion love to steal from people using they're looks to their advanage.

It's not like I have anything worth stealing... but I guess I won't have to wonder twice on where something came from, should that happen.

You probably wont be able to return the stuff half the time. Mine stole a pearl necklace, a few hats and a thong once. I burned the thong but I couldn't find who the owners were for the rest.

They sort of slow down after they evolve.

Evolve? Ah, through training, I suppose?

[Out of all the things Lua took, Killua still didn't understand stealing a thong. Lua has taken a lot more stuff but he wasn't going to elaborate on that.]

Training is the most common way to do it, there are some that evolve a few other ways as well. So of which makes no sense but you just need to abandon logic for the most part.

[Maybe it wanted to troll Killua. Pokémon are good with that.]
